Temporary Mailroom Associate

Job Summary

We are hiring dependable and energetic Temporary Mailroom Associates to support a busy mail operation in Clemson, SC from August to November. This is a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy staying active, working in a team-focused environment, and helping to keep high-volume package and mail operations running smoothly. The Temporary Mailroom Associate role is ideal for someone with mailroom, shipping and receiving, warehouse, retail stocking, logistics, or fast food experience who is comfortable working on their feet throughout the day.

You will be part of an organized, fast-paced operation where accuracy, reliability, and teamwork are essential to providing excellent service. This assignment offers a consistent weekday schedule, free parking, and the opportunity to contribute to an important support function in a structured, professional work environment.

• Receive and unload incoming shipments from Fed Ex, UPS, USPS, Amazon, and other carriers.
• Log incoming packages accurately into the package tracking system.
• Sort mail and packages into the appropriate mailboxes and storage areas.
• Retrieve packages quickly and accurately for pickup.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient mailroom throughout the shift.
• Follow mailroom procedures to support timely, accurate, and professional service.

• Valid driver's license.
• Proof of high school diploma, GED, or higher level degree.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with team assistance available for heavier items.
• Comfortable standing and walking on concrete floors throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and organizational skills.
• 1 to 2 years of related work experience preferred or equivalent experience in a physically active work environment.

• Pay rate: $17.00 per hour.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Assignment duration:
  August 3 through November 2.
• Free parking provided.
