Job Description
We are on the lookout for a skilled Senior Structural Steel Detailer to enhance our industrial projects from initial planning to fabrication and installation. If you have project management skills and a passion for precision, this is your chance to make a significant impact by contributing to coordination, scheduling, and cost management.
Responsibilities- Produce precise structural steel shop and erection drawings
- Review and interpret engineering and architectural drawings with attention to detail
- Collaborate effectively with fabrication, erection, and project teams to ensure accuracy
- Support project planning, scheduling, and scope definition
- Assist in material takeoffs and provide estimating support
- Offer technical input during project reviews
- Uphold quality, safety, and industry standards
- At least 5 years of structural steel detailing experience
- Proficient in Tekla, SDS/2, AutoCAD, or equivalent software
- Strong knowledge of steel fabrication and erection protocols
- Experience in project management or estimating roles
- Able to read and interpret complex technical drawings
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
