The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Clemson University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position in Biophysics under the mentorship of Assistant Professor Dr. Sheng Liu. This position focuses on the development of a high-resolution single-particle tracking system based on MINFLUX microscopy to study protein dynamics and interactions in live cells. The successful candidate will play a central role in advanced instrumentation development and interdisciplinary biophysics research.

• Design, construction, and optimization of a MINFLUX microscope.
• Development of instrument control software.
• Data acquisition, processing, and quantitative analysis.
• Preparation of manuscripts and grant proposals.

• Cell line generation and biological sample preparation.
• Development of data analysis algorithms for single-molecule and super-resolution data.

  Potential renewal based on performance and availability of funding.

• Required: PhD in Optics, Physics, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related field, awarded or expected by 2026.
