Location:
Clemson University Institute for Human Genetics (IHG), Clemson University.
The fellow will work closely with Drs. Morgante and Mackay, other group members, and collaborators; interaction with IHG labs and Greenwood Genetic Center researchers will be advantageous.
Responsibilities- Develop statistical methods for analysis of complex traits (e.g., to account for context-dependent effects).
- Analyze large human genetic and phenotypic datasets (e.g., UK Biobank, All of Us).
- Publish manuscripts.
- Give presentations at national and/or international meetings.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Quantitative Genetics, Statistical Genetics, Biostatistics, Computational Biology or other quantitative disciplines.
Applicants should have excellent working knowledge in one or more programming languages (R, Python, or C/C++) and experience working in a High-Performance Computing and Cloud environment.
Applicants with previous experience analyzing large-scale genomic and phenotypic data (not necessarily in humans) are especially desirable.
