Position: Domino s Pizza Delivery Driver (5620)

Domino's is looking for qualified drivers and customer service representatives to staff stores in your area. Applicants can grow into management or other roles depending on interest.

Job Description

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and two years of safe driving history.
  • Vehicle insured in your name and suitable for delivery.
  • Strong customer service, navigational, and ability to locate addresses within designated delivery areas, including multi‑story buildings.
  • Ability to navigate adverse terrain.
General

Job Duties for All Team Members
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage area.
  • Receive and process telephone and in‑person orders.
  • Clean equipment and facility daily, including washing dishes.
Communication Skills
  • Comprehend written instructions accurately.
  • Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers over the phone or in person.
Essential Functions / Skills / Abilities
  • Perform arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) accurately and quickly; calculator may be used.
  • Make correct monetary change.
  • Use verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid, accurate movements.
  • Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
Work Conditions – Sensing
  • Talking and hearing on telephone.
  • Near and mid‑range vision for in‑store tasks.
  • Depth perception.
  • Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Temperaments
  • Direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, and make judgments and decisions.
Exposure to
  • Varying and sometimes adverse weather when removing trash and other outside tasks.
  • In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F to 90°F or higher.
  • Sudden temperature changes indoors and outdoors.
  • Fumes from food odors.
  • Cornmeal dust.
  • Cramped quarters, e.g., walk‑in cooler.
  • Hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F.
  • Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
  • Varying weather conditions.
Physical Requirements Standing
  • Most tasks performed from a standing position.
Walking
  • Work surfaces include ceramic tile, bricks, linoleum; height 36–48”.
Lifting
  • Bulk product deliveries: hand truck unloading; cases up to 50 lbs.
  • Staggered stacking onto shelves up to 72”.
Carrying
  • Occasional 30‑lb pizza sauce from storage to front.
  • Trays of pizza dough (≈12 lbs each) carried two at a time over short distances.
Pushing
  • Trays on dollies; stack 24–30” requiring up to 7.5 lbs of force.
  • Trays may also be pulled.
Climbing
  • Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladder for maintenance tasks.
Crouching/Squatting
  • Performed occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
  • Forward bending required at pizza assembly station and front counter.
Reaching
  • Continuous reaching: up, down, forward.
  • Occasional reach above 72” for oven controls or signs.
  • Reaching down for tasks such as scooping cornmeal or washing dishes.
  • Reaching forward for toppings, cleaning, or answering phones.
Hand Tasks
  • Eye‑hand coordination essential; continuous use of hands.
  • Frequent use of forearms and wrists for shaping dough.
  • Manipulation of pizza peel and rolling cutter.
  • Pinching for cardboard pizza box assembly.
  • Grasping cans, phone, pizza cutter/peel, pizza boxes.
Machines, Tools, Equipment, Work Aids
  • Pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutter, pizza peel.
Advancement

Team members may progress from CSR or delivery driver to management or franchise ownership.
