Case Manager – Florence (Full Time)
JOB SUMMARY: Under general supervision they will be responsible for preparation of child support cases for Family court; performance of activities in courtroom under supervision of DSS attorneys; follow-up on these cases, including parent locate and processing of interstate cases; and responsible for providing general child support services to clients as required or needed.
JOB DUTIES- 20% PREPARES CASES & INTERVIEWS – Conducts interviews with custodial parents for paternity cases, interstate support cases, and other cases as necessary. Ensures proper use, access, gathering, sharing, and disposal of personal identifying information (PII). Protects agency networks and applications by safeguarding systems, equipment and data.
- 25% SERVICES & SUPPORT – Refers appropriate non-custodial parents to SNAP Employment and Training program. Interprets child support services programs to clients, general public, and community as needed. Provides services in accordance with agency policy and procedure.
- 30% COMMUNICATIONS & CORRESPONDENCE – Communicates with other units within the Office of Integrated Child Support Services and other components within the Department of Social Services; adds support order data to IVD system, as well as financial information to ensure distribution of collections.
- 25% MAINTAINS & EVALUATES – Maintains case records, case narrative recordings written and electronically for documentation and auditing purposes as required by agency policy in a timely and accurate manner. Maintains control of assigned caseload; responsible for identifying and recommending solutions to problems with the child support system and participating in the solutions.
A high school diploma and relevant program experience. A bachelor's degree may be submitted for the required program experience.
RESPONSIBILITIESJOB KNOWLEDGE – Fundamental working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to apply in varied situations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES – Not responsible for supervising employees.
BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES – Fiscal responsibilities for the department's budget, including but not limited to, financial planning and managing fund allocation.

Expected Salary Range: $37,200.00 - $48,300.00
