Advent Health Medical Group (AHMG) is seeking a dynamic and energetic Gastroenterologist to serve the needs of Lake County. The ideal candidate will handle a high-volume caseload, provide outpatient and inpatient care, and practice all aspects of general Gastroenterology. This employment opportunity features a busy ED call at one hospital and a strong emphasis on evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient care
• Handle a very high-volume case load
• Practice all aspects of general Gastroenterology
• Take busy ED call at one hospital
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills

Requirements

• Desire to build a practice and foster collegial relationships with community-based physicians
• Spanish speaking physician preferred but not necessary
• Strong emphasis will be placed on evidence-based medicine with a concentration on patient centered care
• Desire to join a busy practice and fit within the mission and vision of Advent Health
• ERCP preferred, but not required
• Board Certification in Gastroenterology (ABMS or AOA) is required
