Plant Engineer
A Plant Engineer operates and maintains boilers, chillers, generators and associated support systems. Responsibilities include monitoring control screens, starting and stopping boilers and chillers, cleaning and repairing equipment, checking cooling towers, keeping logs for chemical treatment, conducting generator testing, operating switch gear, completing maintenance work orders, logging operating information, coordinating fire and life safety measures, assisting in training other plant engineers, maintaining attendance, and adhering to hospital policies.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, five years of experience in building trades or energy plant operations, and maintaining compliance with Orlando Health policies.
