Physical Therapist

Position Summary:

Responsible for evaluating patients and developing treatment plans that integrate with the continuum of care. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, gathering data, developing treatment plans, demonstrating competency in equipment use, re-evaluating and modifying treatment plans, recognizing optimal therapy benefits, adhering to practice acts and standards, ensuring complete documentation, possessing excellent interpersonal skills, maintaining regular attendance, complying with policies, re-assessing patient status, delivering physical therapy, evaluating clinical interventions, assessing learning needs, participating in continuous improvement, utilizing leadership skills, providing a safe environment, assessing own learning needs, maintaining competencies, reducing infection risks, and adhering to infection control policies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher from an approved program in physical therapy. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required. Maintains current Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida-temporary permit acceptable. Maintains current BLS/Health Care Provider certification.
