Follow state laws governing the provision of physical therapy in home care and adhere to the supervising PT's plan of care;
Instructs and assists patients in active and passive exercises, gait, functional activities, ADLs, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training;
Observes and reports patient responses and changes in condition to supervising PT, nurse supervisor, or physician;
Coordinate care with other healthcare team members as appropriate;
Educate patient, family, caregiver, and healthcare team on therapy within the scope of the PTA;
Function effectively in any home setting regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition
