RN Shift

Position: RN (0-3) - Shift 1 (1048)
Job Purpose:

* The Registered Nurse (RN) at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients within a behavioral health setting. The RN will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the physical and mental well-being of patients, focusing on providing compassionate and effective care during Shift 1.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.

* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring adherence to established protocols and safety standards.

* Monitor and document patient progress, communicating effectively with the healthcare team to adjust care plans as necessary.

* Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medication management, and health maintenance.

* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity and quality of services provided.

* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.

* Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, utilizing critical thinking and clinical skills to stabilize patients and prevent further complications.
