GM Certificated Transmission Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented GM Cert. Technicians to join our team. The Technician will be responsible for performing various maintenance, diagnostic, and repair tasks on a wide range of vehicles. This position requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification from an accredited technical school or equivalent experience
- Previous experience as an A & B Technician or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in vehicles
- Perform diagnostic tests using appropriate tools and equipment
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Follow company and manufacturer guidelines for repairs and safety protocols
- Document all repair work and maintain accurate records
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of work
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in vehicle technology
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift heavy equipment and parts (up to 50 lbs)
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
