We are hiring an experienced Workshop Technician / Car Mechanic to join our busy, friendly team in Clevedon. We offer a £35,000-£40,000 basic salary, stable Monday-to-Friday hours (8:30am-5:30pm, no weekends), and a varied, hands-on role across all makes and models.

Your RoleAs a vital Workshop Technician / Vehicle Mechanic in our team, you will:
- Perform vehicle diagnostics using modern equipment to accurately identify and resolve complex faults.
- Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance in line with manufacturer specifications.
- Undertake broad mechanical repairs
, including brakes, suspension, clutches, and engine work. - Conduct MOT pre-checks and prepare vehicles for testing, delivering clean "first-time fix" results.
- Experience: Proven hands-on experience as a Workshop Technician, Auto Technician, or Mechanic in a garage environment. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
- Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential.
An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not essential for experienced technicians. - Equipment: Must possess your own hand tools for daily repair and diagnostic tasks.
- Key Strengths: Strong diagnostic abilities, attention to detail, reliability, and the drive to work independently within a small team.
Our Clevedon facility offers a straightforward daily commute for candidates travelling from Bristol, Portishead, Weston-super-Mare, Nailsea, Yatton, and the broader North Somerset area.
