Vehicle Technician ​/ Mechanic – Independent Specialist

We offer a £35,000-£40,000 basic salary, stable Monday-to-Friday hours (8:30am-5:30pm, no weekends), and a varied, hands-on role across all makes and models.

• Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per year basic (Positioned directly within our standard bracket depending on experience).

As a vital Workshop Technician / Vehicle Mechanic in our team, you will:

• Perform vehicle diagnostics using modern equipment to accurately identify and resolve complex faults.
• Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance in line with manufacturer specifications.
• Undertake broad mechanical repairs
  , including brakes, suspension, clutches, and engine work.
• Conduct MOT pre-checks and prepare vehicles for testing, delivering clean "first-time fix" results.

• Experience: Proven hands-on experience as a Workshop Technician, Auto Technician, or Mechanic in a garage environment. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
• Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential.
  An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not essential for experienced technicians.
• Equipment: Must possess your own hand tools for daily repair and diagnostic tasks.
• Key Strengths: Strong diagnostic abilities, attention to detail, reliability, and the drive to work independently within a small team.

Our Clevedon facility offers a straightforward daily commute for candidates travelling from Bristol, Portishead, Weston-super-Mare, Nailsea, Yatton, and the broader North Somerset area.
