Your Role

As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our Clevedon workshop, you will:

  • Carry out vehicle servicing
    , routine maintenance, safety inspections, and mechanical repairs to strict manufacturer standards.
  • Inspect and assess core systems
    , including brakes, suspension, steering, exhausts, and lighting.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately using modern diagnostic software and equipment.
  • Work with wet-belt engines and modern powertrains (advantageous but not essential).
  • Maintain precise job cards and documentation while adhering strictly to workshop health and safety guidelines.
What You Need
  • Qualifications &

    Experience:

    NVQ / IMI Level 2 or Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification) with proven hands-on experience in vehicle diagnosis and servicing.
  • Licensing & Eligibility: Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are essential.
  • Key Strengths: Strong mechanical fault-finding ability, attention to detail, reliability, and a professional, quality-focused mindset.
Location & Search Reach

Based in Clevedon (North Somerset, BS21), our workshop offers an easy, straightforward commute for candidates travelling from Portishead, Weston-super-Mare, Nailsea, Yatton, Bristol, Avonmouth, and surrounding Somerset areas.
