Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (72 Hours)

Location: Metro Health Cleveland Heights Medical Center, Cleveland Heights, OH

Shift: 7 p.m. – 7 a.m., rotating weekends and holidays

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The role supports a diverse patient population, contributing to high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a Level One Trauma environment.

• Perform patient assessments and triage for acutely ill pediatric to adult patients as well as behavioral health patients
• Manage IV insertion, blood draws, and Foley catheter insertion
• Delegate tasks, use critical thinking, and manage time effectively within a fast‑paced setting
• Collaborate with paramedics, patient care nursing assistants, and providers to deliver coordinated care

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or program seeking accreditation
• Current RN license in the State of Ohio
• AHA BLS and ACLS certification within 90 days of hire
• PALS certification within 6 months of hire
• TNCC certification within 1 year of hire
• PRN need must possess current certifications upon hire

• BSN degree
• Professional certification recognized by the Magnet Association
