Registered Nurse-Cleveland Heights

Location:
Metro Health Cleveland Heights Medical Center

Bi-weekly

Hours:

72.00

Shift: 7a-7p/7p-7a;
Rotating weekends, Rotating holidays

Primary Patient Population:
  • Acutely ill medical patients
Primary skills utilized/learned:
  • IV insertion, blood draws, Foley catheter insertion, wound care
  • Time management, critical thinking, delegating
  • Excellent unit for both new grads and experienced RNs
Personnel RN will work with:
  • LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, Social Workers, PT/OT, Speech Therapy
Number of beds on unit:
  • 12 beds
Awards or Recognitions the unit has received:
  • Highly rated Patient Satisfaction surveys
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
  • PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
  • PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire
Awards or Recognitions the unit has received:
  • Zero healthcare associated pressure ulcers
  • Highly rated Patient Satisfaction surveys

Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio

  • PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
  • PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BSN
  • Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association
