As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you will be the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers seeking automotive needs. No need to be able to tear down engines, but a background in automotive parts is preferred. • Providing auto parts answers and solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
• Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge
• Delivering outstanding customer care and engaging with everyone who visits our store
• Maintaining a high-energy, customer-focused environment in our fast-paced stores
• Welcoming customers and ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Using technology such as computers, cash registers, telephones, and catalogs

• Those who enjoy helping customers with auto parts and service questions
• Individuals with automotive industry experience or those who enjoy tinkering and repairing vehicles
• Willing to learn about automotive parts if new to the industry
• People seeking growth opportunities within a team environment

• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting
• Strong listening skills and empathy for customers

• Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership industries
• Experience in retail, auto body, or collision repair
• Knowledge of cataloging and inventory systems
• Customer-centric attitude
• ASE Certifications (a plus but not required)
