- Operates horizontal directional drilling equipment in accordance with blueprints and designated plans
- Installing 500 –1,000 feet of conduit in a typical workday
- Maintains equipment per manufacturer's specifications and safety guidelines
- Assisting in potholing, remediation, setting hand holes and pulling fiber
- Keep good records, as built drawings and complete daily site inspections
- Knowledge of utility depths and placements; general knowledge of construction practices
- Able to read blueprints/underground utility plans/redlines and interpret work assignments
- Adheres to directional drilling best practices
- Knowledge of job site safety practices
- Able to work in trenches, manholes, tunnels and confined spaces and in work settings with moderate to loud noise levels
- Able to move in different positions – crouching, kneeling, reaching, bending and lifting 75 lbs., unassisted
- Willing to work overtime when required
- Willing to travel and to work in all-weather conditions
- Self-motivated and able to work well in groups
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years working with Vermeer or Ditch Witch DDD, or equivalent required
- 2 years working in telecommunications industry
Must have a CDL
Education Required:
High school diploma or equivalent and OSHA
10 safety card certification is required. (If applicant does not hold an OSHA
10certification, Centerline Communications LLC will pay for computer-based training with applicant completing online course within 5 days of hiring on their own. Certification is the property of the applicant.)
This pay range for this position is 35-45 Hr., pay is based on experience and location.
