Salary Basis: 9 month

Classroom, online, and clinical teaching in the discipline in undergraduate and/or graduate nursing; research/scholarship; and University, professional, and community service.

• Doctorate in Nursing or related field; ABD/applicants completing the appropriate terminal degree within 12 months will be considered.
• MSN required.
• Current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in Mississippi (copy must be submitted with application).
• Must satisfy a criminal history background check.
• Clinical focus in adult, psychiatric/mental, maternal/child, and/or pediatric; other specialty areas may be considered.
• Clinical expertise and at least 1 year experience in clinical role.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats.

• Demonstrated leadership within the fields of education and nursing.
• Personal and professional integrity consistent with the mission of this institution and department.
• Evidence of effective problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision making skills.
• Demonstrated pro-active approach in identifying problems.
• Experience with utilizing technology in the instruction process to enhance learning.
