Position Summary
At Baxter Healthcare Corporation in Cleveland, MS, we are seeking a Quality Technician to join our dynamic team. This role supports our modern, automated manufacturing processes and plays a key part in ensuring product quality and compliance.
CoreDuties & Responsibilities
- Perform tests and document test results.
- Perform product sampling.
- Conduct functional testing of products.
- Align with all specifications, procedures, and forms that pertain to the area.
- Perform department audits as required.
- Assist with running protocols.
- Review specification and SOP changes.
- Write SOPs for the area of responsibility.
- Adhere to plant environmental health and safety regulations.
- Carry out any additional duties as assigned by supervision or management.
- High school diploma or GED and/or 0-3 years of related experience.
- Successful completion of the Career Readiness Certificate.
- Capability to lift, push, and pull weights up to 25 pounds; lift items above shoulder height up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to reach above shoulder to perform work, climb ladders, bend/stoop, and stand for long periods of time.
- Capacity to work additional hours when necessary.
- Ability to perform effectively with minimal oversight.
- Willingness to cross‑train within the area.
- Adaptability to changing requirements.
- Accountability for actions taken.
- Attention to detail.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with different organizational levels.
- Experience with controlled documentation and specifications is a plus.
- Mathematical competence.
- Knowledge of measurement methods.
- Proficiency in using weight scales.
- Competence in accurate sampling techniques (e.g., visual inspections, dimensional).
- Ability to perform SPC techniques.
- Familiarity with computer systems.
The estimated base salary for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 annually. Salary may vary based on market data, skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
