Bridge Community Development Center Mississippi is looking for a compassionate and dedicated IDD Day Program Facilitator to join their team in Cleveland, MS. Responsibilities- Facilitate daily structured activities and programming for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
- Support participants in developing life skills, social skills, and personal independence
- Monitor and document participant progress, behaviors, and daily activities
- Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) in alignment with each participant's goals
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all program participants
- Collaborate with caregivers, families, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Assist participants with personal care needs and daily living activities as required
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in human services or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with individuals with IDD, developmental disabilities, or special needs
- Knowledge of person-centered care principles and individualized support planning
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass a background check and meet state licensing requirements
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable, empathetic, and committed to advocating for individuals with disabilities
