The Client Accounting Associate will support the Wealth Management business segment and the Partners and Principals responsible for providing comprehensive wealth planning, investment advisory and tax planning for individuals, families, trusts, endowments and philanthropies. We offer lifestyle management services tailored to support clients’ needs which can include bill pay, wires, estate management and other custom services. These responsibilities must be conducted in accordance with industry best practices and applicable laws and regulations.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Perform administrative and operational duties, such as opening client bank accounts, transferring funds, invoicing, updating client and account information, bill pay, receipt organization and filing, bank account review and reconciliation
- Act as administrator for accounting/bill pay software including account set up, vendor files, and statements
- Maintain and improve accounts payable filing systems
- Client specific reporting needs, which could include: tax documents, quarterly invoices, prize money records, compensation reports, payroll and others
- Develop written procedures on all aspects of this position, while always working to improve efficiency and minimize errors
- Document management for all bill-pay and wealth planning clients in accordance with IRS requirements
- Support other associates and provide telephone support
- Regular interaction with third party advisors and vendors
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, professional presentation, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving skills, and an ability to organize and prioritize work in order to meet deadlines in a proactive manner with little supervision
- Strong work ethic, interpersonal collaboration and team skills, a must
- Comfort with accounting/bookkeeping software important
- Minimum of 3 years related work experience
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Compensation Range$50,000 - $70,000
