Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Cleveland, OH - Central Support

Department: Finance 960

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing invoices, ensuring payables remain in good standing, and working with business partners to resolve issues.

• Review, verify, and process supplier invoices.
• Match purchase orders, invoices, and receipts (3-way match).
• Enter invoices into accounting software.
• Respond to supplier inquiries.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Ensure proper coding to accounts.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year accounts payable experience
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and general computer knowledge.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented atmosphere.
• Problem solving, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience working with SAP
