Location:

Cleveland, OH, free parking Salary: $55-65K, hybrid

• Strong foundation in accounting principles, with expertise in GAAP and financial regulations
• 1-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in nonprofit accounting, with exposure to diverse grant awards, or a minimum of 7 years of comparable professional experience in lieu of a degree
• Proficiency in accounting software; experience with Sage Intacct and advanced Microsoft Excel skills highly preferred
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills with a transparent, collaborative approach
• Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information

• Prior experience working within nonprofit organizations or government grant management
• Familiarity with payroll processing and internal controls
• Experience supporting or leading financial meetings and preparing detailed reports

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
• 7+ years of professional accounting experience if without a degree
• Exposure to federal, state, or local government grants, and pertinent compliance standards

• Ability to serve as a backup for payroll processing
• Willingness to support diverse business operations and team initiatives
