An established and growing company is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its Finance team. This role reports to senior finance leadership and offers exposure to a broad range of accounting and operational finance functions. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their experience across month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, and process improvement initiatives within a collaborative team environment.

Compensation: $65k - $75k DOE, Full benefits package
Location: Hybrid – Cleveland, OH
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day cash application and collections activities
- Maintain customer and vendor records, reporting, and documentation
- Prepare general ledger journal entries
- Support recurring payment and reconciliation processes
- Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting
- Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Assist with external audit support
- Identify and recommend process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Ensure accurate revenue and expense recognition in accordance with GAAP/IFRS
- Perform ongoing reporting, analysis, and ad hoc projects as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience
- CPA or CMA designation preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Experience with accounting software such as Great Plains, Quick Books, or similar ERP systems preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
