We are seeking a highly motivated Site
Controller to serve as a strategic finance partner within a growing manufacturing organization. Reporting to senior finance leadership, this position will oversee all accounting and financial activities for designated business units, including general ledger accounting, month-end close, inventory control, costing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

The Business Unit Controller will work closely with operational and executive leadership to provide financial insight, drive profitability, support decision-making, and ensure strong financial controls. This role is ideal for a hands‑on finance leader who thrives in a manufacturing environment and enjoys partnering with operations to improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Maintain a strong internal control environment with a focus on inventory accuracy, cash management, and financial integrity.
  • Partner with business unit and plant leadership to provide financial guidance and support operational decision‑making.
  • Monitor business unit financial performance and communicate key trends, risks, and opportunities to leadership.
  • Analyze variances against budget, forecast, and prior‑year results, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Oversee inventory accounting, bill of material (BOM) accuracy, and costing processes.
  • Drive profitability analysis through product costing, margin analysis, and operational performance metrics.
  • Support cash flow planning and help safeguard company assets.
  • Participate in monthly business reviews and present financial results to senior leadership.
  • Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting activities.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of operational and strategic decisions.
  • Support pricing strategies, commission programs, and other financial planning and analysis initiatives.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maximize utilization of ERP systems and emerging technologies to improve reporting and business insights.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and support financial audits and compliance activities.
  • Perform ad‑hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience partnering with operations and non‑financial stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA designation (active or inactive).
  • Manufacturing industry experience.
  • Cost accounting and inventory accounting experience.
  • Public accounting background.
  • Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated success driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.
