Accounting Clerk

Role Description

The Accounting Clerk is a full-time, on-site role based in Middleburg Heights, OH. This position is responsible for performing day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including processing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining accurate financial records. The Accounting Clerk will assist with preparing financial reports, supporting month-end and year-end close activities, and verifying the accuracy of invoices and transaction entries.

The role also involves working closely with other team members to ensure timely data entry, compliance with internal controls, and efficient support of the company’s logistics operations.

• Candidates should possess skills in Accounting and Bookkeeping for managing daily financial transactions and records.
• Candidates should possess skills in Finance and Financial Statements to support reporting, analysis, and compliance.
• Candidates should possess skills in Accounting Software to efficiently process entries, reconciliations, and generate reports.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Ability to work on-site in Middleburg Heights, OH and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in an accounting or clerical role; experience in transportation or logistics is a plus.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
