Senior Accounting Consultant
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Consultant for a 3-4 month engagement. The consultant will work directly with the President on various accounting projects, including an urgent bank transition within the next 6 weeks. The role also involves supporting treasury management, and addressing challenges in inventory and cost management. The consultant will provide insights into the existing inventory system, which requires significant improvement, and assist with reporting and process documentation.
Responsibilities- Assist in transitioning banking operations within a 6-week timeframe.
- Support treasury management and inventory cost management.
- Analyze and improve the current inventory system.
- Engage in process documentation and reporting.
- Provide oversight and insights into the controller's and overall accounting processes.
- Expertise in accounting, cost analysis, and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in treasury management and reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly Macola, and advanced Excel skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
- 5-10 years of accounting experience, specifically within manufacturing and cost-related fields.

- Strong communication skills to manage potential resistance from existing staff.
The role offers flexibility with a work schedule of 30-40 hours per week, depending on availability. Some tasks may be completed remotely if necessary. The environment may be challenging due to existing staff dynamics, requiring a consultant with resilience and the ability to manage resistance.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Cleveland, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
