Position OverviewThe Accounting Intake Specialist plays a critical role in the financial onboarding of new clients and matters within the firm. This position works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure all billing structures, rates, and client requirements are accurately established from the start.

- Review and approve client/matter intake forms for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain and update client, matter, and billing data in the accounting system
- Set up billing rates, fee arrangements, and invoice formats
- Ensure compliance with billing guidelines and internal policies
- Communicate with attorneys and staff to gather and verify required information
- 3+ years of legal billing, pricing, or intake experience
- Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Word and legal billing systems preferred
