- Prepare and review monthly journal entries, including payroll, fixed assets, p-card, commissions, tax accruals, general accruals, and other general ledger adjustments
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of reconciling items
- Assist with the daily and monthly cash reconciliation processes, including cash sheets and bank account reconciliations
- Perform administrative duties to support the ongoing monthly reconciliations across multiple entities
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes across multiple entities
- Prepare financial analyses and supporting schedules for management reporting, audits, and regulatory requirements
- Assist identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within accounting operations
- Assist with external audit/review processes, including preparation of schedules, supporting documentation, and auditor/commission requests
- Maintain strong internal controls, ensuring proper segregation of duties and compliance with company procedures
- Deliver internal and external customer service in line with company culture and values and ensure compliance with all company policies and federal, state and local laws

- Ability to work independently and effectively manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods and move throughout all areas of the property, including stairways and escalators
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds, and perform activities such as reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, and kneeling
- Ability to respond appropriately to visual and auditory cues and communicate clearly and persuasively.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer and standard office equipment.
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Must be available to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as business needs require.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree. Accounting, finance, or business preferred
- Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably including experience in a multi-entity or regulated environment
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting practices, with demonstrated proficiency in financial reporting systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft 365 applications
- Ability to obtain a Casino Gaming Employee (CGE) license within the State of Ohio.
