We are seeking a highly analytical and technically strong Senior Accountant to support general accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment where data is not always readily available—you will be expected to dig in, connect the dots, research discrepancies, and develop solutions. This position requires strong Excel expertise, solid accounting knowledge, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Manage and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules
Analyze general ledger activity and investigate variances, discrepancies, and unusual transactions
Prepare financial statements, management reports, and ad hoc accounting analyses
Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with GAAP and company policies
Partner cross-functionally to gather financial information and resolve accounting issues
Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and other general ledger activities
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen controls, and increase efficiency
Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close
Advanced Excel expertise – modeling, data manipulation, pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas
Experience with ERP/accounting systems; SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, or similar preferred
Naturally curious with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-starter who takes initiative without needing significant direction
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Comfortable researching issues, working through ambiguity, and building processes from scratch
