LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accounting Manager (AP/AR) for a growing organization in Greater Cleveland, Ohio.

This position will oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions while driving process improvements, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and leading a high-performing accounting team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong operational accounting experience and a passion for improving efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations
Lead, mentor, and develop AP/AR team members
Oversee cash application, collections, vendor payments, and account reconciliations
Monitor customer aging and support working capital initiatives
Ensure timely and accurate month-end close activities related to AP and AR
Partner with Finance and Operations to improve processes and internal controls
Assist with audits, reporting, and compliance requirements
Analyze trends and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and cash flow

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of accounting experience with AP/AR leadership responsibilities
Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting principles
Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
Proven leadership and process improvement experience
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
