American Lumper Services is a growing nationwide warehouse management company. We are looking for a warehouse Admin Rep in the Garfield Heights, OH area. Under general supervision, the Administrative Support Rep is responsible for answering phone calls and emails, providing details to drivers on delivery locations, responding to customers, carrier partners, and drivers' questions and concerns, and assisting the team with administrative duties/light warehouse duties.

The ideal candidate will be someone who:
  • Has a positive attitude and provides courteous, friendly service to all internal team members and external customers, by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries and requests.
  • Be the front line of support for all carrier providers and drivers, handling all inquiries to ensure we exceed expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records of carrier provider, and driver interactions, and process accounts as needed. Must be comfortable with Excel, Word, and Outlook email.
  • Provides administrative support for the entire team and carrier providers to ensure efficient dock operations.
  • Provide support to drivers and delivery locations to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Accurately receives, sorts, and provides appropriate paperwork to drivers in a timely manner.
  • Handle customer, carrier provider, and driver complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within approved time limits; follow up to ensure resolutions.
  • Maintained general office files, including job files, carrier provider, and driver files related to docking operations.
  • Protects company assets and confidential information in accordance with company policies and procedures. Including, but not limited to, candidates, team members, and proprietary company information.
Physical Demands:

Although the position will be mainly in an office setting, there may be times where help is needed on the dock. Tasks on the dock may require some lifting (nothing heavy).

Shift: Monday through Friday 9:30pm - 6am

Pay rate: $19/hr (weekly pay)

Requirements
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Email
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize duties
  • Must be able to work independently as well as with the dock team when needed
  • Clear communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Customer service skills to ensure good relationships with drivers
  • Must be able to pass a background check
