The project coordinator will need to work with various departments on a wide variety of projects, keep all relevant work organized and ensure that goals and milestones remain in alignment with business priorities. The ability to think strategically, remain organized and initiate timely communications will be critical.
The ideal candidate will keep projects organized so management can align the necessary people, resources, and priorities to deliver expected outcomes in light of shifting priorities.
Objectives of this role- Maintain project documentation used by the relevant project teams to ensure maximum performance by providing visibility for easier alignment.
- Ensure comprehensive project planning using standard project planning principals and tools; ensuring basic project planning considerations are documented.
- Manage meeting schedules for internal and external resources to ensure that projects remain on task and in alignment.
- Analyze project status and, when necessary, identify issues that require further review.
- Ensure clear and open communications with relevant client stakeholders, providing project status and alerting on all potential delays or problems.
- Maintain project planning documentation during the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that tasks, milestones and goals are identified.
- Assist all project teams perform critical analysis to help identify and document necessary tasks, milestones and goals.
- Coordinate with third-party resources, including vendors, and communicate on scheduled cadence with other project leads to maintain project alignment and timetables.
- Document project outcomes and/or risks for review by appropriate management channels and highlight issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
- Strong attention to deadlines, necessary to ensure timeliness of multiple projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, necessary to document planning
- Excellent presentation skills, necessary to maintain project documentation is an easy to understand and concise format
- Experience with in a technology field
- Experience performing projects
High School or better.
PreferredBachelors or better.
