Overview
Provides the highest quality, comprehensive cross-functional student services for identified Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, Bursar, and Academic Records functions at the main campus and off-campus locations. Advises, investigates, problem-solves, and resolves questions and issues from current, previous and future students, parents, the visiting public and the CSU community. Works closely with colleagues across campus to provide efficient and effective referral services for students who need assistance from academic service areas.
Participates in the development and implementation of new strategies to enhance the operation of All-in-One/Campus
411 and increase the efficiency of service functions within the Center. Interacts with all internal and external customers modeling professional courtesy, respect and quality service behaviors. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Administration, Business or related field.
- Four (4) years’ experience in Admissions, Academic Records, Registration, Financial Aid, Bursar, or related service function in a service environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends and travel off campus as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to establish and maintain driver eligibility under CSU Driving and Motor Vehicle Policy.
- Master’s degree preferably in Higher Education Administration/ Student Personnel.
- Significant experience working with two or more of the administrative service functions covered by All-in-1/Campus
411 or previous experience providing similar services in highly complex organizations covering multiple functional units. - Working knowledge of CRM and application administration system i.e. People Soft, OnBase, Power Faids and Slate.
- Knowledge of University organizational structures and protocols.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to engage, communicate, and resolve issues with students of diverse backgrounds and needs.
- Ability to effectively engage with team members when issues arise to ensure appropriate communication and develop effective resolution plans.
- Demonstrate significant understanding of, and ability to execute superior student service methodologies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint.
