Summary
Provides high‑level administrative support and applies knowledge and skills to resolve complex administrative problems independently or with others. Responsible for preparing advanced presentation materials using PowerPoint and Excel; independently prepares complex documentation, reports, charts, graphs, and spreadsheets at designated intervals and as requested. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The Metro Health System.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain advanced presentation materials, reports, charts, graphs, and spreadsheets using PowerPoint and Excel.
- Provide independent and collaborative administrative support to nursing and central support teams.
- Resolve complex administrative issues and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
- Document and report on administrative processes and outcomes.
- Assist with the coordination of meetings, scheduling, and communication among stakeholders.
- Associate’s Degree in a related field or equivalent education, training, or experience.
- Five years of progressive or relevant administrative support experience.
- High proficiency in PC and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (including chart preparation).
- Detail oriented and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience with in a healthcare provider organization.
- Ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field.
- Experience in a high‑level support role.
- Strong analytical skills.
May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate face‑to‑face, by phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job‑related documents and use the computer.
