Our client, located in the University Circle area, is seeking an experienced Department Assistant with People Soft expertise to support the administrative functions of the Marketing Communications department.
Key Responsibilities- Execute a high volume of fiscal and data entry tasks in People Soft Financials, including requisitions, journals, travel and expense reimbursements, contractor agreements, and invoice processing.
- Input and maintain detailed financial records in Quick Base for project management, budget tracking, monthly statement reconciliation, and expense analysis.
- Coordinate appointments, travel, correspondence, and confidential information for department leaders.
- Maintain freelance vendor contracts and oversee departmental subscriptions to ensure compliance and uninterrupted service.
- Provide general administrative support, order office materials, and perform other clerical tasks as needed.
- Minimum five (5) years of administrative experience, preferably supporting financial operations or budgets.
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Prior experience and proficiency in People Soft Financials are absolutely required.
- Familiarity with Mac operating systems and Google Suite.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
