Lab Support, Additive Manufacturing & Ideation
Responsible for helping with daily activities in the Fab Lab and 3D printing labs.
- Provides technical support for lab equipment.
- Monitors and assists visitors in lab.
- Works on projects for external and internal customers.
- Receives and stores supplies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work with student populations from a variety of ages and backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications
- Enrollment in an engineering, engineering technology, STEM, or creative arts program at an accredited college or university.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions
- The work is performed in a normal, professional office environment.
- The work area is adequately lit, heated, and ventilated.
- Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the duties of the job and will perform repetitive motions with hands/fingers using a computer mouse and keyboard to type. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items such as papers, files, pamphlets, books, etc.
- Work may also require walking and standing in conjunction with travel to and attendance at meetings and conferences away from the worksite.
This is a Part-Time Non-Bargaining Unit Position, with the following Set Rate of Pay: $15.60/ hour.
