This is a hybrid based role (min 3 days per week in office) and the expectation is the person will live within commutable distance to Cuyahoga Falls OH.
Position OverviewThe Pricing Manager will play a critical role in driving pricing compliance, governance, and realization across the organization. This role is focused on managing deal opportunities, supporting annual price increase, establishing robust pricing controls, leading monthly price review processes, and ensuring alignment with strategic pricing objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, advanced skills in Power
BI and Excel, and significant experience in pricing within the building materials or a related industry.
- Price Governance & Compliance: Develop and implement governance frameworks to ensure pricing adherence and compliance with company policies. Establish and enforce controls to prevent deviations from approved pricing plans and policies. Regularly assess and refine policies to adapt to changing market conditions and business objectives.
- Deal / Bid Management: Responsible for ensuring the deal submission outlines all time frames, estimated costs, service information and the agreed outcome.
- Customer Incentive Programs: Support and maintain the various discount and incentive programs by product category.
- Commodity cost related price adjustments: Responsible to work with procurement and product leaders to ensure pricing is fully in line with cost adjustments
- Price Realization: Analyze pricing performance against set targets and contribute to strategies that drive price realization across product categories.
- Monthly Price Review Process: Lead the establishment and execution of a structured monthly price review process, identifying opportunities for pricing adjustments and improvements.
- KPI Development & Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to pricing performance and compliance.
- Executive Communication: Prepare clear and concise presentations and reports for executive leadership, translating complex pricing analytics into actionable insights.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT, Sales, Finance, and Product Management teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives.
- Documentation: Document and maintain latest pricing policies and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in a pricing-focused role, with a strong emphasis on compliance and governance.
- Demonstrated expertise in Power
BI and advanced Excel functions. - Ability to adapt in a fast-changing environment and being agile.
- Experience in the building materials industry or a related sector is a plus.
