The Business Platform Coordinator supports the administration, coordination, and operational management of MSC’s business platforms, including customer experience technologies, health system EHR access platforms, and other operational systems. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day platform support activities such as access requests, workflow tracking, reporting, training, and documentation. The Business Platform Coordinator works closely with the Business Platform Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure platforms are well maintained, requests are completed in a timely manner, and users have a positive experience.
- Platform Administration Support
- Assist with day-to-day administration of business platforms, including customer experience tools and external health system platforms.
- Support configuration updates, user setup, and maintenance tasks as directed.
- Help ensure platforms remain organized, up to date, and functioning effectively.
- Access Management Coordination
- Manage intake and tracking of platform access requests.
- Coordinate provisioning, changes, and deactivations with internal teams and external partners.
- Maintain accurate records of user access and request status.
- Workflow Tracking and Communication
- Provide status updates to requesters and stakeholders on open items.
- Help ensure requests are completed within expected timelines.
- Escalate issues or delays to the Business Platform Manager as needed.
- Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain platform documentation, SOPs, and process guides.
- Assist in generating reports on platform usage, access activity, and operational metrics.
- Support periodic access reviews and audits.
- User Training and Enablement
- Support onboarding of new employees by providing training on business platform usage, processes, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain training materials, quick reference guides, and job aids.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to users to promote effective platform adoption.
- Partner with the Business Platform Manager to identify training needs and opportunities for improved user experience.
- Process Support and Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve tracking, communication, and workflows.
- Support implementation of process improvements and standardization efforts.
- Vendor and Ticket Coordination
- Submit and track vendor support tickets as needed.
- Assist with coordination of issue resolution and follow-up.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
Experience/Knowledge/Skills/
Physical Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in administrative, operations, or systems support roles
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Experience working with software platforms or ticketing systems preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams
- Experience supporting user training or developing process documentation preferred
- Dependable with a strong commitment to service and professionalism
