The National Account Manager represents the CARFAX brand to key automotive industry accounts and serves as the primary executive‑level point of contact for large or multi‑store car dealer groups. The goal of this position is to build strong mutually beneficial business relationships with CARFAX’s corporate dealership customers.

What you’ll be doing
  • Build relationships at all corporate levels of influence within the assigned customer base (President, CFO, COO, VP Marketing, CTO, E‑commerce).
  • Cultivate new business development opportunities.
  • Co‑ordinate all aspects of client interaction across internal and customer‑facing teams.
  • Review and analyse customer performance data and metrics.
  • Manage all phases of new onboarding: implementation, deliverables, training.
  • Respond rapidly to customer needs and provide exceptional levels of customer service.
What we’re looking for
  • 10+ years of automotive account management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability in developing corporate‑level relationships within top dealer groups.
  • Strong collaboration skills and proven ability to develop internal relationships.
  • Road warrior mentality – frequent regional travel and occasional overnights.
  • Proven ability in value creation and account planning.
  • Ability to run an agenda‑driven meeting, virtually or in person.
  • Focus on a great customer experience and attention to detail in ongoing account management efforts.
  • Knowledge of dealer management software systems (plus).
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver.
