Job Title:
Continuous Improvement Manager
Primary
Location:
Cleveland OH 44102
12-month contract - On-site role
Monday - Friday - 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay rate: $62.50/hr
Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other improvement methodologies.
- Identify process improvement opportunities through data analysis, value stream mapping, and performance metrics.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
- Facilitate Kaizen events, workshops, and problem-solving sessions.
- Coach and mentor employees on Lean principles and continuous improvement tools.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure achievement of improvement targets.
- Standardize processes and ensure sustainability of implemented improvements.
- Conduct root cause analysis using tools such as 5 Why Analysis, Fishbone (Ishikawa) Diagram, Pareto Analysis, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Collaborate with department managers to prioritize improvement initiatives.
- Support change management activities and encourage employee engagement.
- Prepare reports and presentations for leadership on project progress, savings, and business impact.
- Promote a culture of operational excellence and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Operations, Manufacturing, or Process Excellence.
- Experience leading cross-functional improvement projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
