Overview of the Program

Lincoln Electric’sProduct Management Internship Program offers individualsthe chance to apply their academic knowledge in real-world settings.

Participants work on meaningful projects, gaining valuable hands‑on experience. The program includes technical training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities like presentations and leadership‑led learning  this role, you willhelp support the development and execution of product strategy for a product line or category.

This position focuseson market research, analytics, and feature development support, helping to develop and enhance products in support of Product Managers. Interns are given real world business projects to work on with emphasis to work collaboratively across many departments. Engaging with our customers and suppliers is common to many projects. It’s a great way to build skills, grow your network, and explore a future career in Product Management.

What

You'll Work On
  • Contribute to market research, competitive analysis, and customer insight efforts to uncover trends and opportunities.
  • Evaluate competitor offerings, pricing strategies, and market positioning. Support the development of customer personas and use case documentation.
  • Review customer feedback, NPS survey results, and support ticket data toidentifykey themes. Track usage andadoptionmetrics for new features to inform product decisions.
  • Draft user stories, define acceptance criteria, and outline feature requirements to support product development.
  • Take part in project planning sessions, team meetings, and cross-functional events. Work closely with engineering, design, and QA throughout the development cycle.
  • Develop training resources, sales enablement tools, and launch presentations to support go‑to‑market efforts.
  • Help organize beta programs, pilot testing initiatives, and onboarding experiences for new customers.
