Exciting Project Coordinator Opportunity - Urgently hiring in Cleveland!

Job Title:

Temporary Project Coordinator Pay: $28.00 per hour

Hours:

9:00 AM - 1PM (flexible daytime hours), 20 hours per week, plus four event days

As a Project Coordinator, you'll help ensure seamless event execution and coordinate multiple moving parts behind the scenes. You'll work closely with vendors, team members, and venue staff to deliver exceptional results that make a difference.

You'll Do

As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Oversee purchasing activities by developing supply requirements, submitting vendor orders, and tracking deliveries to ensure materials arrive as scheduled.
  • Manage print projects from vendor pricing and file submission through proof approval and final delivery.
  • Prepare event supply packages by organizing, verifying quantities, labeling, and securely packing materials for transportation.
  • Coordinate event logistics by reserving venues, maintaining attendee lists, confirming arrangements, and communicating reminders.
  • Configure and test operational technology, including laptops, wireless equipment, and timing devices, prior to events.
  • Communicate concise progress reports following each work session to provide visibility into project status.
  • Provide on-site support for four scheduled events, including space preparation, audiovisual setup, materials coordination, and time management.
What You'll Bring
  • Demonstrates strong accuracy and consistently follows established procedures, instructions, and checklists.
  • Comfortable setting up, connecting, and resolving basic issues with audiovisual technology, including HDMI and wireless devices.
  • Communicates confidently and professionally with vendors and event participants through both phone and email.
  • Skilled in using Excel or Google Sheets to organize information, monitor activity, and maintain accurate tracking records.
  • Has dependable personal transportation and is willing to travel approximately 60+ minutes for designated events.
  • Able to commit to all four scheduled event dates and work approximately 8-12 daytime hours per week between September 8 and October 20.
