Your ImpactCHAMP is seeking a curious, highly analytical, and research-driven Strategic Market Intelligence Analyst to help shape our growth strategy across state government markets. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on uncovering insights that others miss, connecting seemingly unrelated information, and turning qualitative and quantitative research into actionable business intelligence.
The ideal candidate is equal parts researcher, strategist, and storyteller. They enjoy digging into public and non-public information, identifying trends and opportunities, and building comprehensive intelligence profiles that help drive business development and strategic decision-making.
This position works closely with Government Affairs, Business Development, and Leadership to develop deep intelligence on State DMV ecosystems, market opportunities, and key stakeholders.
What You’ll Do- Conduct extensive research on state DMV agencies, transportation departments, and government stakeholders.

- Regulatory, political, and operational challenges
- Customer pain points and unmet needs
- Assess market potential and provide recommendations regarding market attractiveness and strategic opportunities.
- Conduct both primary and secondary research using a variety of sources, including:
- Company Websites
- Linked In
- Industry publications
- Public records
- AI research tools (CoPilot)
- Professional networks and industry contacts
- Synthesize large amounts of information into meaningful, actionable insights.
- Research and develop profiles on key government stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Identify relationship gaps and opportunities across state agencies.
- Understand organizational dynamics, priorities, and potential challenges impacting state decision-making.
- Provide strategic recommendations to support customer engagement efforts.
- Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive activity.
- Identify patterns, opportunities, and risks across the government technology landscape.
- Translate research findings into strategic recommendations for leadership and business development teams.
- Develop both high-level summaries and detailed intelligence reports for executive leadership.
- Create rapid-response briefing materials in preparation for conferences and customer meetings.
- Maintain current intelligence on target states and quickly deliver insights when new meetings and opportunities arise.
- Present findings and potential pipeline opportunities during weekly market intelligence meetings.
- Partner with Business Development, Government Affairs, and Leadership teams to influence market strategy and customer engagement plans.
