Over the course of the interns' time at Huntington, they gain exposure to key business functions across all segments of the organization. An intern's experience should be focused on professional growth, skill development, and practical application of academic learning. Interns participate in a structured series of development opportunities, including interactions with senior leadership and career pathing insights.

The experience also includes immersion in Huntington's award‑winning culture through community involvement and team‑based activities. Internships at Huntington are designed to help students build a strong foundation for future career success while contributing to meaningful business initiatives.

Internship Opportunities at Huntington:

Huntington offers internship opportunities for students who are currently enrolled in an academic program and seeking practical, hands‑on experience in their field of study. Internships take place during a defined period of time and are available across all business segments.

+ Rising seniors  ( Winter 2027 or Spring 2028 grads ) may participate in the  Huntington Internship Program  , an  11-week  , role-aligned experience where students work directly with a manager and team on meaningful business initiatives. In addition to hands-on project work, participants gain exposure to executive leadership, participate in Huntington's innovation project, and build connections that may lead to future full-time opportunities.

All i nterns participate in a variety of developmental and professional activities designed to support learning and exposure to the organization. Depending on your school year , p rogram components may include:

+ Experience in day‑to‑day responsibilities related to their assigned team

+ Exposure to broader business functions

+ A structured schedule of professional development sessions

+ A team project focused on applying Huntington's innovation framework to a business‑relevant problem

+ Participation in volunteer activities and internal events aligned with Huntington's culture

Retail Banking Internship Overview:

Within the Business Management and Commit To CARE team, interns will gain exposure to project and priority management. Students will partner directly with retail leadership, C2C program managers, and retail support partners to contribute to meaningful initiatives that enhance the colleague experience across the Huntington retail team. Interns will strengthen their communication skills while using Microsoft programs, AI tools, and other internal systems to support the development of strategic execution plans and presentations.

Opportunities may include exposure to Commit To CARE initiatives, such as the fraud journey, call center partnership and call reduction efforts, enhanced compensation planning, internal AI tool development, and more.  Successful candidates are collaborative, organized, process oriented, and eager to learn and grow at a fast pace.
