Project Engineer, Civil Engineering

A leading commercial construction firm is seeking a Project Engineer to support project teams on complex, high-profile construction projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional looking to build a strong foundation in project management while working alongside experienced Project Managers and Superintendents.

• Assist with day-to-day project management activities from preconstruction through closeout
• Manage and track RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and project documentation
• Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and internal team members
• Support schedule updates, material procurement, and cost tracking efforts
• Help maintain project budgets, change orders, and buyout logs
• Participate in jobsite meetings and assist with field coordination as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, contract requirements, and quality control processes

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• 1–4+ years of experience in commercial construction preferred
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
• Ability to communicate effectively with both field and office teams
• Motivated, eager to learn, and capable of managing multiple priorities

• Exposure to large-scale, technically challenging commercial projects
