A growing commercial glazing contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to support continued expansion across the Cleveland market. The company specializes in curtain wall, storefront, entrances, and architectural glass systems on commercial projects ranging from $50K–$500K.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join a stable and well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of work and long-term growth potential.
Responsibilities- Prepare accurate takeoffs and estimates for commercial glazing projects
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Price curtain wall, storefront, entrances, and related glazing systems
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for material pricing
- Analyze labor, equipment, and installation costs
- Work closely with operations and project teams during project handoff
- Attend scope review meetings and assist with value engineering
- Manage multiple bids and maintain proposal schedules
- 5–10 years of estimating experience within the commercial glass/glazing industry
- Strong understanding of curtain wall and storefront systems
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Experience pricing commercial projects
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and organizational skills
