Job Details

We are seeking a Project Engineer to support commercial construction projects through documentation, coordination, scheduling, cost tracking, and communication between project teams, field leadership, subcontractors, and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Support Project Managers and Superintendents with daily project coordination and documentation.
  • Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, project logs, and closeout documents.
  • Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project requirements to identify missing information or conflicts.
  • Assist with subcontractor coordination, procurement tracking, scheduling updates, and field communication.
  • Support cost tracking, pay applications, change‑order documentation, and project forecasting.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep projects moving forward.
  • Assist with quality control, safety documentation, punch lists, and project closeout.
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of construction experience through project engineering, field coordination, internships, or related project support.
  • Experience with commercial, multifamily, mixed‑use, senior living, hospitality, or related building projects preferred.
  • Understanding of construction drawings, RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, and project documentation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction software preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines, details, and multiple project priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.
