Construction Project Manager
A premier Cleveland, Ohio area commercial construction firm is hiring an experienced Construction Estimator / Project Manager.
Responsibilities- Analyze project blueprints, architectural drawings, and technical specifications to build highly accurate labor, material, and equipment cost estimates.
- Oversee commercial waterproofing and restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring execution remains on schedule and within budget.
- Prepare comprehensive take-offs, defined scopes of work, and formal bid packages. Evaluate subcontractor quotes to compile competitive client proposals.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal field operations teams to keep project goals aligned.
- Manage and track critical project documentation, including contracts, change orders, schedules, and daily/weekly progress reports.
- Actively identify and develop local project leads while fostering long-term relationships with regional subcontractors.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
- MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent.
- Document Control:
Bluebeam, Procore. - Productivity & Communication: MS Office Suite (Excel expert preferred), MS Teams, Zoom, Adobe Acrobat.
- Minimum 5 years of dedicated commercial construction cost estimation and project management experience, with a proven focus on restoration projects.
- Prior experience working with specialty or self-performing contractors is highly preferred.
- Strong technical understanding of various façade systems and materials, including masonry, concrete, stone, curtain walls, windows, and roofing.
- Knowledge of historic preservation principles and restoration techniques is a major plus.
- Exceptional blueprint reading skills, robust contract literacy, and sharp negotiation/conflict resolution abilities.
